Adam Kuczek — concept designer and art director. Warsaw. Working internationally since 2010.
From 2010 I have been working as one of the first Polish freelance concept artists for the entertainment industry. Film projects I contributed to over the years include the sci-fi features Cloud Atlas (2012), Jupiter Ascending (2015) and Disney’s upcoming The Sword in the Stone (TBA), as well as several Polish and international independent productions.
Additionally, I have helped to develop visual looks for numerous advertising campaigns, game cinematics, virtual reality platforms and publishing. My work has been featured in several art books, like Ballistic’s Exposé 9, Exposé 11 and d’artiste Matte Painting 3. EXPOSÉ series was widely regarded by industry professionals as the gold standard for tracking global digital art talent.
As an Art Director, I worked for companies like Digital Frontier (in Chengdu, China), Platige Image (in the Advertisements Division, with focus on ads and cinematics), and on the complex sci-fi adventure game Minotaur from a studio Chainbit. I also helped to shape the early visual style and brand identity of CEEK, a VR music-based metaverse that grew into one of the larger platforms in its field.
Under the MetroForm banner (formerly: AK-ART), I provide design services that marry storytelling, 2D, 3D and, most recently, AI-generated imagery into future-oriented, comprehensive concept work — characters and humanoids, environments, vehicles and mechanical systems, key art, cinematics, and spatial worlds. I also provide photography services with focus on creative and narrative imagery.
A locked brief, a messy pitch, or a world that only exists as a paragraph - it's all fair game. I develop the look and keep it consistent across stills, storyboards, concepts and motion packages. Comfortable leading teams, and equally comfortable as the only designer on a call with a director at 2 a.m.
Tools depend on the job. Apart from a trusty set of unbeatable pens and markers, I always rely on Photoshop, Affinity Designer, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Fusion, Arnold, KeyShot, Procreate, Gravity Sketch, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve, Godot, and - if required - a current AI stack, like Nano Banana, MidJourney or Stable Diffusion (via Comfy UI), always used as a production instrument, never as a final solution.

I’ll be in touch. In the meantime the work is on the boards.
